The Role
As our Quality Inspector, you’ll be at the heart of our quality operations, ensuring every component and finished product meets specification, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Your expertise will directly protect our reputation and help drive continuous improvement across the business.
Your Profile
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet defined quality standards
- Receiving and booking in raw materials, components, and consumables, verifying deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Developing and following inspection plans using a range of measurement and testing tools
- Calibrating inspection equipment to maintain accuracy and reliability
- Conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) to validate production processes
- Reviewing engineering drawings to confirm products meet design intent
- Identifying, reporting, and analysing non-conformances, working with teams to prevent recurrence
- Supporting batch release of sterile medical devices in line with regulatory requirements
- Liaising with suppliers and distributors to resolve quality issues effectively
- Maintaining accurate quality records, reports, and QMS documentation
- Contributing ideas and insights to improve quality, processes, and performance
Who We’re Looking For
- Someone with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine passion for quality
- Experience in quality inspection or quality control within a manufacturing or regulated environment
- Confident reading engineering drawings and using inspection equipment
- A proactive problem-solver who doesn’t just spot issues, but helps fix them
- A reliable team player who communicates clearly and works collaboratively
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in a changing environment
